A 39-year-old woman is hospitalised with a gunshot injury to her left hand following a shooting at the City Vibz Nightclub, located at Sussex Street, Albouystown, Georgetown at around 02:40hrs today.
News Room understands that Stacy Robinson, a Cosmetologist of Waterloo Street, was in the lower flat of the concrete building among a crowd when she heard a loud explosion and felt a burning sensation.
She then saw blood oozing from the palm of her left hand. She was immediately rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where she is in a stable condition. Investigations are ongoing.
