The second victim in the Linden/Soesdyke Highway fatal accident this morning has been identified as 25-year-old Quason Anthony of Bent Street, Georgetown.

Anthony, who was reportedly a Taxi Driver, and Teon Hope, a Police Corporal of Lamaha Park, Georgetown, died this morning in a horrific accident in the vicinity of Loo Creek on their way to Georgetown.

News Room was reliably informed that the men crashed into a parked truck on the side of the road.

A police statement subsequently noted that the car, PNN 1278, was proceeding north with four occupants, allegedly at a fast rate and collided with the rare of the truck, GWW 8443, trailer TWW 8912, which was laden with lumber.

Police said that one of the lumber protruded the car; the car’s driver, 23-year-old  Rishawn Pierre of Durban Street, Lodge is in custody assisting with this investigation. The other occupant of the car is receiving medical attention at the Linden Hospital Complex.
