A 60-year-old labourer was this morning arrested by ranks of the Guyana Police Force Narcotics Branch after five taped parcels of compressed cannabis was found at his home.
Police said the man’s Haslington, East Coast Demerara home was visited during an intelligence-led operation.
The illegal substance, which weighed in excess of 27 kilograms, was found hidden in a freezer of the man’s home police said.
The suspect is being processed for Court tomorrow.
