Two males were arrested by ranks of the Guyana Police Force on Wednesday evening after they were found with an unlicensed firearm and live rounds.
The police said the suspects, 32 and 21 years old of Campbellville and Thomas Street, Kitty, Georgetown were riding bicycles in the vicinity of Dennis Street, Campbellville at about 20:00 hrs. The men were observed acting suspiciously by the ranks who decided to stop and search them.
During the process, one of the men was found in possession of an unlicensed .380 Pistol with six (6) live rounds.
The suspects are being processed for court.
