Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder of 34-year-old vendor, Farcey Yassen, of 25 Belmonte, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara.
According to a statement from the Guyana Police Force, his body, which bore multiple stab wounds, was found in a northern drain in his yard about 01:45hrs this morning.
The body is presently at the Lyken’s Funeral Home awaiting a post-mortem examination.
