A 38-year-old Labourer opted to spend the next three months behind bars after he could not afford to pay a $50,000 fine.
Troy Joseph of Sophia, Georgetown appeared before Senior Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court where he admitted that on April 28 at Lamaha Gardens, he stole a bicycle valued $13,000 and a car battery valued $35,000, the property of Joseph Innis.
