The driver and conductor of a route 42 minibus were arrested and slapped with several charges after a video of them overloading their vehicle was circulated on Facebook.

The video which was circulated on social media on Wednesday, June 06, 2018, indicated that 45 school children were in the minibus.

When arrested, the driver, Leon Jaggernaught, 38, of Laluni Highway and conductor Joshua Khan, 22, of 560 Golden Grove East Bank Demerara (EBD) told police ranks that there were only 24 students in the bus.
