ExxonMobil U-14 football kicks off tomorrow
After heavy rainfall in the city forced the postponement of the opening day last Saturday, all systems are now in place for the start of the inaugural ExxonMobil Under-14 Secondary Schools football tournament, organised by the Petra Organisation.
Action is set to get underway tomorrow (June 9) at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue. The competition will feature 24 schools, competing in both the Boys and Girls categories.
Kick off time is 11:00h with two games being played at once. For the first two weeks only the boys will be in action, as the girls will be involved in technical training under the guidance of Guyana Football Federation officials.
