VIDEO: 3 bandits caught during attempted robbery
The supermarket
Three bandits were this morning arrested at Grove on the East Bank of Demerara after they attempted to rob a supermarket.
According to information received, the armed men were corned at the ‘Number One’ supermarket at Lot 18 Grove Public Road at around 07:00hrs.
It is alleged that they tied up the security at the building but he later escaped and alerted neighbours who called the police.
An investigation is ongoing.
