Businessman robbed at gunpoint in West La Penitence

A 30-year-old businessman of West La Penitence, Georgetown is counting his losses after he was forced to lie face down on the ground, held at gunpoint and robbed of over $305,000 in cash and valuables by three masked bandits, all armed with guns.

News Room understands that at around 22:15hrs last night, Trevor Brown was lying on his bed when he heard his motorcycle fell to the ground. He opened his door when he confronted by the armed men.

They stole $30,000 cash, a quantity of GTT and Digicel phone cards value $120,000 and three gold chains value $155,000.

The suspects escaped on motorcycles. Investigations are ongoing.
