An estimated 12 feet long Camudi snake was this morning captured by residents of the Grove Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara (EBD).

Residents said the snake was found wrapped around a sheep. However, by the time the residents unwrapped the reptile, the sheep had died.
Scores of persons including children came out of their homes to catch a glimpse of the animal.
