A 32-year-old Gym Instructor today appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore, charged with stabbing his reputed wife to the right side chest with a knife during an argument.
Darius Ramsammy denied the charge, which alleged that on June 16 at Castello Housing Scheme, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded his reputed wife, Danatta Bobb.
His lawyer, Everton Lammy-Singh told the court that his client acted in self-defence.
Police Prosecutor Simone Payne did not object to bail.
Magistrate Azore released Ramsammy on $50,000 bail and adjourned the matter to July 18.
