The simple pleasures and joys that children experience running, playing and enjoying a sunny day are sometimes not available for children with special needs.
Due to their limitations, they don’t experience or are unable to interact with their surroundings, limiting their sensory experiences.
On Wednesday, therapists and rehabilitation specialists attached to the Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre sought to ensure that experience for some of the children they care for, including those with cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, and intellectual impairments.
