Hero Caribbean Premier League games are coming to Guyana. This is according to information emanating from the Ministry of Social Cohesion.

In an invite to the media on Thursday afternoon, the Ministry noted, “Honourable Minister of Social Cohesion, Culture, Youth and Sport, Dr. George Norton will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding with officials of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for the hosting of cricket matches here in Guyana.”

The signing is expected to take place at 15:00h. It is unclear how many games would be played in Guyana.

Uncertainty arose over the games in Guyana after CPL issued the fixtures weeks ago with the scheduled Guyana Amazon Warriors home games at a venue to be confirmed.

News Room will provide information as it becomes available.
