Bartica housewife busted with cocaine, marijuana

A 59-year-old woman of Old Housing Scheme, Bartica is in police custody after she was found with 2,555 grams of cannabis and 1451 grams of cocaine which were hidden in a box and a bucket in her home.
Police reported that a party of policemen swooped down on the woman’s house at around 01:00hrs this morning and conducted a search during which they found the illegal drugs in the bedroom of Roxanne Carrington.
Police said she admitted to knowing the drugs were in her house and told the cops that someone gave it to her to keep.
She remains in custody pending charges.
