A 26-year-old woman broke down in tears today after Magistrate Judy Latchman sentenced her to 12 months imprisonment for wounding her cousin.
Lisa Bobb, a Vendor, was found guilty of wounding Crystal Bobb on February 14, 2018, in Campbellville, Georgetown.
She did not have legal representation and the matter was prosecuted by Police Corporal Shawn Gonsalves.
When Magistrate Latchman imposed the sentence, Bobb broke into tears and behaved disorderly.
The Magistrate told Bobb that she needs to control her anger.
According to reports, on the day in question, there was a misunderstanding between Bobb and the complainant when Bobb stabbed the woman with a knife.
