TEST: Gabriel rocks Bangladesh after Brathwaite’s ton

Bangladesh are staring down a massive defeat as West Indies dominated day two of the opening Test in Antigua.

Facing a huge deficit of 363, Bangladesh, dismissed for their lowest-ever score of 43 in the first innings, closed on 62-6, still 301 runs away from avoiding an innings defeat with just four wickets remaining.

Shannon Gabriel ripped through the top order with 4-36, while Jason Holder has so far picked up 2-15.

Earlier, West Indies, resuming on 201-2, made 406. Kraigg Brathwaite made 121, his seventh Test ton, while Shai Hope made 67 and Holder and Kemar Roach scored 33 apiece, to complement Devon Smith’s 58 and Kieran Powell’s 48 on the first day.

Mehidy Hasan and Abu Jayed picked up three wickets each.
