Two men were on Friday night robbed of their valuables while at a Barber Shop located at lot 1919 Durban and Haley Streets, Georgetown.
The incident occurred at about 22:45 hrs.
According to information received, the men, William Bailey –a 32-year-old Barber and Lawrence Payne –a 19-year-old footballer, were at ‘Perfect You Barber Ship’ when they were confronted by two masked men, one armed with a handgun and another with an ice picker.
Reports are that one of the suspects pointed his handgun at Bailey who became fearful and handed over his cellular phone valued $75,000.
Simultaneously, the suspect armed with the ice picker approached the second victim and took his Puma book bag valued at $8,500 and one iPhone 7 valued at $120,000. The bag also contained Football pegs valued at $17,500.
The perpetrators made good their escape on foot.
