A security guard who was on the police’s radar for quite some time was arrested this afternoon in Queenstown, Georgetown.
A police statement said that at about14:00hrs ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch intercepted a vehicle which was driven by the suspect and conducted a search.
They found a .45 pistol fitted with extended barrel and butt along with 40 .45 live ammunition, a magazine and 19 7.62 x 39 ammunition.
