Three persons have been arrested in relation to the death of a 43-year-old man who is believed to have been severely beaten by drinking buddies.

Dead is Wayne “Whino” Sundar Singh of Fifth Street, Rose Hall Town. The man succumbed to severe head injuries on his way to the Georgetown Public Hospital after he was found with marks of violence and a swollen face on Friday evening.

Singh was seen earlier imbibing with several persons at a house located at Bulletwood Street, Rose Hall Town.
However, around 20:00hrs, the man’s mother was informed by a colleague that “something” happened to her son.

When family members visited the house, they found the man in an unconscious state. He was taken home and the police were informed of the incident.

Singh was then taken to the Port Mourant Hospital and later transferred to the New Amsterdam Hospital.
The man’s mother, Morti Sundar Singh, told News Room that the doctors indicated that her son was in a critical condition and needed to be transferred to the hospital in the capital city.
