McDoom Gas Station employees robbed at gunpoint

Police are on the hunt for four men who robbed two employees of the Shell Gas Station at McDoom, East Bank Demerara at around 03:15hrs today of an undisclosed amount of cash.

News Room understands that the Pump Attendant, 36-year-old Amit Lall was on duty when four men arrived at the gas station.

Two of them pulled out guns from the waist of their pants, pointed same at him and relieved him of the cash.

The two other gunmen went into the supermarket, pretended to be customers and asked for a pack of cigarettes when they held the 24-year-old cashier, Salaam Hussain at gunpoint and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

The four gunmen escaped on foot and the police are slated to review CCTV cameras.
