ANSA McAL, Baksh Travel Service join in support of Fredrick’s T20 Cup

ANSA McAL and Baksh Travel Service have come on board for the Roy Fredrick 20/20 Floodlight Cup “REVOLUTION” with major rights.

The two entities join Rafeek Kassim “Buski” Contracting Service, J&G Supermarket, Orin Printing and Business, Cellphonix, Vickram Singh Contraction Co., Imran & Daughters General Store, Feroz Hafeez Wholesale and Retail-Supermarket, Ricky Moore Fish Depot, Hassan Bakery, Benjie Jewelry and Dindyial Hardware Store in support of the tournament.

Saturday’s activities are expected to commence at 09:00hrs and conclude 22:30hrs with the seven teams competing for the supremacy.

Two-time defending champion, Blairmont Blazer will be hard pressed to retain their crown as they are expected to face stiff challenges from the other teams such as Albion Cricket Club, Demerara Cricket Club, Rose Hall Youth & Sports Club, Port Mourant Cricket Club, Young Warriors and Upper Corentyne Association.

Meanwhile, Berbice Volleyball Association games are expected to start at 15:30hrs and conclude 20:30hrs as categories cater to both male and female.

The male team expected to participate are PMTC1, TC, Rollers, Corriverton Jets, Port Mourant Jaguars, Black Bush and Number 48. The female segment will see Corriverton Jets and Port Mourant Females.

There will be cash prize and trophies for the winners, runner-up and third place teams; there will also be accolades for the Most Valuable Player in both segments.

At the event, there will be lots of attraction for spectators such as Tassa Drumming, Lighted Bails, 4 and 6 fans, bowl off, spectator catch, cartoon characters walk around, live commentary by international commentators, Inderjeet Persaud, Sean Devers, Legendary International commentator and sports analysis Joseph “Red” Pereira, Imran Sakoor among others.
