Businessman beaten, robbed as bandits attack Clothing Store

A 32-year-old businessman is counting his losses after two bandits attacked and robbed him in broad daylight at his clothing store in Winter Place, Georgetown at around 1pm Saturday.

News Room understands that the bandits, one of whom was armed with a gun, entered the store and ordered the owner, Grey Terborg to lie on the ground, after which they kicked him in the mouth and snatched his $140,000 gold chain from his neck.

The bandits also stole $5,000 in cash and a quantity of clothing valued at $400,000 from the businessman.

Police said that the perpetrators ran away in a southern direction on Winter Place and made good their escape.

Investigators are making efforts to review CCTV footage as investigations continue.
