The body of a De Kindren, West Coast Demerara (WCD) carpenter was found floating in the Atlantic Ocean on Emancipation Day.
Sheriff Yusuf, 58, was last seen at around 13:00 hrs on Tuesday when he left his home to go fishing.
However, at around 06:00 hrs on August 1, his body was found floating in the Atlantic Ocean.
Police examined the body and no marks of violence was seen.
The body is presently lying at the Ezekiel funeral home awaiting a post-mortem examination.
