Police are probing the discovery of a man, whose body was found floating in the Craig Side Line dam on the East Bank of Demerara on Monday.
News Room understands that the body was spotted by a passerby who called the Grove Police station at about 13:00hrs.
Police said the body was clad in a black short sleeve t-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a black Samsung Galaxy cell phone along with $5,800 cash was found in the man’s pocket.
The body was escorted to the Lyken funeral parlour awaiting identification and a post-mortem examination.
