E-Networks Inc. – Guyana’s leading Cable TV service provider – today announced that it has completed the first phase of its Upgrade to High Definition (HD) on its DreamTV Wireless platform.
This upgrade, which was initiated in April, required existing customers to upgrade their boxes to a new, Android-powered box, capable of delivering the new features.
At 23:00h last night (Sunday, August 12), the first phase was concluded and required all customers to rescan their boxes. Some customers, after rescanning their boxes, may find that they encounter issues with audio – and these customers would need to visit our branch to exchange their boxes.
Customers who rescan their boxes and have restored their channels are not required visit our office. This is the first of several phases of the upgrade, which will upgrade more, existing channels to HD quality, as more people switch their boxes to the new HD box.
