A massive pile up of vehicles at around midnight in front the Georgetown Club on Camp Street has reportedly left seven persons injured.

News Room was reliably informed that some of the vehicles belong to the State and included officials of the People’s National Congress/Reform (PNC/R) and Government ministers who were dining at the Club following the opening of the PNC/R 20th Biennial Delegates Congress on Friday evening.

Commander of ‘A’ Division, Marlon Chapman confirmed to the News Room that the accident occurred at around midnight but he could not give more details.

However, a police source who was at the scene, told News Room that some of the officials drove away from the scene before the police arrived and without assisting those who were injured.
