Police are investigating an incident where 31-year-old Munir Amin of Lot 51 First Dam, Garden of Eden, East Bank Demerara was found lying in a pool of blood in the community with severe injuries to the head and face.
A police release noted that he was first taken to the East Demerara Regional Hospital by his father after which he was transferred and admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he is listed in a critical condition.
“No other information is at this time available as to how he became of his injuries,” the police statement noted.
