A 26-year-old woman is in police custody after she allegedly stabbed her 3-year-old son to death at her Foulis, East Coast Demerara home.
News Room understands that the child was stabbed twice and died at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
According to reports reaching News Room, the young mother of two other children told investigators she had a dream that she was going to die today and as such, she did not want to leave the toddler behind since he was her favourite.
News Room understands that an older brother escaped from the house and informed neighbour of what occurred.
Investigations are ongoing.
