Guyana suffered another huge defeat today in the Americas Rugby 15s Challenge in Colombia, losing to Paraguay 86-7. It was a woefully one-sided affair, completely dominated by Paraguay.
Selwyn Henry scored a try and Ryan Gonsalves made a successful conversion to account for Guyana’s seven points. This is Guyana’s second defeat in as many games; they started the tournament with a 71-7 loss to the host nation.
The Guyanese will play their final match of the tournament this weekend, against another rugby powerhouse, Mexico.
