After a lengthy period of inactivity, the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC) will host a five-fight boxing card on September 22, dubbed Young Guns- The Proven Ground.
According to the GBBC, the boxers will sign their contracts on Friday (August 31) at the Abdool and Abdool Insurance Company office on Avenue of the Republic.
Anson Green and Joel Williamson will face off in a Junior Welterweight Four-round contest; Delon Charles will take on Terrence Adams in a four-round Featherweight bout; Riwanna David and Ansilla Norville will clash in a Bantamweight four-rounder; James Moore will battle Romeo Norville in a four-round Cruiserweight showdown; and Keithland King of Barbados will trade punches with Derick Richmond in a six-round Middleweight contest.
The venue is the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
