Doctor, female friend robbed at gunpoint outside Subs & Salads

Police are on the hunt for a bandit who robbed a 31-year-old Doctor and his female friend at gunpoint Wednesday night outside the Subs and Salads outlet on Sheriff Street, Georgetown.

Police said that the victims were sitting at a table eating at around 22:15hrs when a silver Allion car with registration number PNN 2660 stopped in front of them and the perpetrator exited.

He walked towards them while pointing a black handgun and demanded that they hand over their valuables.

The Doctor was robbed of his Samsung Galaxy S6 cell phone and his wallet while the female was robbed of her Samsung Galaxy S8 cell phone.

The bandit escaped in the waiting car. Investigations are ongoing.
