Father allegedly murders son at Enmore

A father is in police custody after he allegedly stabbed his son to death at about 20:30hrs on Saturday.

According to information received, the man called ‘Wire’ was intoxicated when he was involved in an argument with his 20-year-old son called ‘Kevin’ at his Fifth Street, Foulis, Enmore, East Coast Demerara (ECD) home.

It is alleged that he became angry and picked up a sharp object and stabbed the young man to his chest.

‘Kevin’ fell to the ground and succumbed to his injuries.

The father was taken to the Enmore Police Station where he was arrested as investigation commences.
