A search of the Georgetown Prison by three Senior Officers and 63 other ranks of the Joint Services on Tuesday unearthed a large quantity of contraband items.
Among the items found were three cellular phones, two SIM cards, two memory cards, five phone chargers, twelve lighters, a quantity of cigarettes, thirteen improvised weapons and one flash drive.
On Monday, a search of the Lusignan Prison led to the discovery 45 improvised weapons and several other contraband items.
