A male dog food vendor was shot while a female dog food vendor and another woman were robbed Monday night, Police has reported.
The male suspect is being sought.
The incident occurred about 20:40 hrs Monday at the corner of Aubrey Barker and Stevedore, North Ruimveldt; the suspect fled the scene in a waiting motor car.
The two women were robbed of their cellular phones; one of them was a female food vendor who was not named by the Police.
The male dog food vendor, identified as 26-year-old Shane Cooper, of Jacksonville, North Ruimveldt, Georgetown was shot twice.
Cooper is presently warded at the G.P.H.C where he underwent emergency surgery for gunshot wounds to the abdomen and left leg. He is said to be in stable but serious condition.
