The Ministry of Public Infrastructure has condemned the vandalism of traffic signs and is calling on persons to desist from destroying public property.

The Ministry said on the Schoonard Road leading to La Parfaite Harmonie on West Bank Demerara, 7 out of 10 bump traffic signs and metal posts that were installed a few weeks ago are missing.

In some cases, the signs are bent and party flyers are pasted on some.

The Ministry is urging citizens to report instances of vandalism to the nearest police station or contact its public relations department on 227-0799.
