Ansa McAL official beverage sponsor of GuyOil’s School Football League
Ansa McAL Trading has continued its overwhelming support for football, and this time the company has forged a partnership with the Guyana Oil Company (GuyOil) for the impending School Football League.
The 12-team school league will be the first of its kind in the country and kicks-off on Sunday with four matches at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Helping in bring momentum is the ANSA McAL group with its non-alcoholic beverages. Non-Alcoholic Brand Manager Errol Nelson spoke at simple briefing held at the company’s Beterverwagting location on Tuesday.
“I thank Petra [Organisation] for having the ANSA McAL Smalta Lasco portfolio of brands which consist of iCool Juice and water along with the Lyrix soft drink on board as the official beverage sponsor of the school league.”
Nelson added, “ANSA McAL has been committed to the development of football in Guyana for many years and this is seen from our involvement in sponsorship for many tournaments from the grass root level to the national level.”
Brand Coordinator, Fharis Mohamed, earmarked it as one where the company is investing in the nation’s future.
The first round of matches kicks off at 11:30h and pits Annandale and Vergenogen, followed by Uitivulgt and Wismar/Christianburg from 13:15h. The other two matches will Friendship and Marian Academy from 15:00h and Queen’s College and Queenstown from 16:45h.
