Battered body of man found on Linden Highway


Police are trying to ascertain the identity of a man whose battered and bruised body was found at Low Creek on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway on Saturday morning.

Police said that the man’s body had injuries to the head, left arm and leg. Pieces of plastic fragments were seen on the road next to the body suspected to be that of a vehicle light.

News Room understands that the area is a lonely one with the closest community about three miles away.

The body was escorted to the Linden Hospital Complex and is awaiting an identification along with a Post Mortem Examination.
