A Berbice mother was Wednesday morning killed after she was struck off her bicycle at Nigg on the Corentyne Coast, Berbice.
Dead is 42-year-old Guytree Armogan, called Deslyn, of Nigg village.
Mrs Armogan was on her way to a neighbourhood shop when she was struck off her bicycle by a motorbike.
She was rushed to the Port Mourant Hospital but succumbed to her injuries. The rider of the motorcycle also received injuries.
Mrs Armogan was at the time heading to buy snacks for an airport trip later in the day.
She leaves to mourn her husband and two sons, aged 25 and 12.
Back in 2001, Mrs Armogan lost her only daughter, who was six-years-old at the time, to a vehicular accident in the same village.
