A Bachelor’s Adventure, East Coast Demerara man was Thursday evening shot while returning home from a shop in the neighbouring village of Paradise.
According to Police reports, Taffy Adam, 31, left his home on a bicycle and went to a shop located at 17th Street Paradise Housing Scheme.
On his way home, he saw a silver grey 212 motor car with six male occupants inside. The car then drove next to him and he heard a loud explosion and felt a pain to his left arm.
He collapsed and was picked up by villagers and was taken to the Enmore Police Outpost then to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he is presently receiving medical attention.
His condition has been listed as stable.
No one has been arrested.
