Team Mohamed’s Enterprise, in a Facebook post on Friday, confirmed that Matt Truelove and his younger brother Harry Truelove, along with Suzuki Factory Rider Richard Cooper will be riding under its banner for the final leg of the Caribbean Motor Racing Championships in Guyana.
Matt leads the individual points standing for the Caribbean title and is followed by local speedster Matthew Vieira, a former Caribbean champion.
Harry, on the other hand, made his debut at the penultimate leg at Bushy Park, Barbados in September where he was second best to his brother in all three races. Cooper is a 35-year-old who races in the British Superbike Championship for Buildbase Suzuki.
In the past, the likes of Bryce Prince, a former Moto America champion, rode for Mohamed’s. Prince won the 2017 Caribbean title and had fellow Moto America rider Jason Aguilar ride alongside him at South Dakota.
Though the locals lack the superior machine of a Yamaha Greaves, they still plan to ‘throw caution to the wind’ and pose some challenges if any.
Stephen Vieira, who is making a comeback after a year, will be one of those challenges along with cousin Matthew and young upcoming talents Raveiro Tucker and Kevin Persaud.
The championship, which has been themed ‘Ignite’ by the local organisers, will be held on November 10-11 at the South Dakota Circuit.
