Biker killed in Essequibo accident


A 56-year-old woman is nursing a fractured hip after a speeding biker crashed into her Sunday afternoon on the Queenstown Public Road, Essequibo Coast.

Police Headquarters revealed that 28-year-old Naitram Sankar, known as ‘Mice’ of Agricola, East Bank Demerara was speeding along the road on his motorcycle (CG 1530)  when he collided with Juliet Miller and then crashed into a utility pole at around 13:00hrs Sunday.

They were both rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital where Sankar was pronounced dead on arrival and Miller was admitted for treatment.
