A 21-year-old man appeared before Chief Magistrate, Ann McLennan on Monday, charged the rape of a 15-year-old school girl.
Mario Bruce was not required to plea to the charge, which alleged that between August 21- 22, 2018, at Princess Street Werk-en-Rust, he engaged in sexual penetration of a child below the age of 16.
Bruce did not have legal representation and was granted $300,000 bail.
The matter is adjourned to November 12.
