Police have discovered the skeletal remains of an unidentified male in the Diamond Backlands on the East Bank of Demerara.
Police Headquarters said that the male appears to be 50-years of age and is clad in a blue jersey, a blue jeans, a pair of blue and white socks, a pair of brown sneakers and had what appeared to be a bandage wrapped around the left hand.
The discovery was made at around 13:00hrs on Tuesday. The remains are at Lyken’s Funeral Parlour awaiting identification and an autopsy.
