Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who was struck down on the Strathspey, East Coast Demerara (ECD) public road on October 30.
Reports are that at around 19:45 hrs, the pedestrian ran into the path of motor car # PVV 9941 driven by a 33-year-old resident of Friendship, ECD.
He fell onto the roadway and suffered injuries to his head and other parts of his body.
He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Unit in an unconscious state where he remains a patient in a critical condition.
The driver has been released on bail pending the outcome of the investigation.
