Police have recaptured the last of the three prisoners who recently escaped from the Lusignan Prison, East Coast Demerara.
Sudesh Dyal, 23, was arrested Sunday morning around 03:00hrs at Tuschen Squatting Area, East Bank Essequibo.
The Guyana Police Force said that a police team led by Divisional Commander Senior Superintendent, Edmond Cooper, swooped down at the location and apprehended the fugitive without any incident.
Dyal, who was remanded for break and enter and larceny, and two others had escaped from the prison on October 15, 2018.
The other fugitives were Travis Evans, 23, and Dexroy Pollard, 29.
