Nineteen restaurants have come onboard for Guyana Restaurant Week 2018, which will run from November 23 to December 2.

Guyana Restaurant Week provides a unique opportunity for locals and expats to experience fine-dining at affordable prices.

The participating restaurants are Aagman Restaurant, Antonio’s Grille, Bistro Café and Bar, Cara Lodge, Café Bellvana, Grand Coastal Hotel, Pegasus Hotel, Java Coffee Bar, New Thriving Restaurant, Brasil Churrascaria, OMG! Restaurant, Petit Four, Herdmanston Lodge, Guyana Marriott Hotel, Roraima Duke Lodge, The Vintage Wine Bar, Windjammer Restaurant, and Xie Xie Restaurant.

Kevin Daby, of the Tourism and Hospital Association of Guyana (THAG), promised an exciting week and is encouraging persons to check online at guyanarestaurantweek.com for more details on participating restaurants and their menus.

During restaurant week, persons get the opportunity to indulge in the multi-course dining experience at reduced prices at $2,000 for lunch and $4000 or $5000 for dinner.

This year, at some restaurants, they will offer complimentary glasses of wine. Unlike the previous year, there will be no scavenger hunt competition but patrons are encouraged to snap and post photos of their Guyana Restaurant Week experiences.
