Motocross in Guyana and Steven Nobrega seem to be an unmatchable force.

The speedster won all eight of the professional races at the 2018 Motocross Championship series, which culminated on Sunday at Lower Kara Kara, Speightland, Linden.

Despite the conditions were not most favourable due persistent rain, the sizeable gathering was in disbelief of the daredevilry of Nobrega.

The racer, who is powered by local company Secure Innovations and Concepts Inc., told News Room Sport he is overjoyed by the performance and wants to see the sport grow so there can be more intense competition in the 2019 series.

Trailing in second and third throughout the day were Kenrick Spelling, John Phang and Ravin Ramcomar.

In the novices category, David Nobrega made his debut and got the better of eventual champion Kennard Spelling, but Kennard turned the table in the second race.

While there are no set plans as to when the 2019 season will start, one thing is for sure, more dirt bike racing is on the cards.
