The body of 69-year-old George Dove was found floating in the Atlantic Ocean in the vicinity of La Bagatelle, Leguan Island early Saturday morning.
Dove, a farmer of Leguan, was discovered between the rocks at around 06:45hrs; Police observed abrasions on the left side of the head, which they suspect may have been caused while his body was bracing against the rocks.
His wife told Police that he left home on November 20, 2018, for his farm at Parika backdam, East Bank Essequibo, where he would spend two to three weeks before returning home.
Dove’s body was taken to the Leguan Mortuary for a Post Mortem Examination.
Police are continuing their investigation.
