Wife stabbed 10 times, husband stabbed 13 times in Kuru Kururu tragedy

Police are investigating the alleged murders of a Seventh Day Street, Kuru Kururu Soesdyke-LindenHighway couple, whose bodies were found in their home Tuesday morning in a pool of blood.

Dead are 34-year-old Naco Hale, a labourer and her reputed husband, 48-year-old, Alwyn Bleacher, a farmer. The couple’s four children found them dead in a pool of blood in the house and it is believed that the incident occurred on Monday night.

News Room understands that the body of Hale bore about ten stab wounds in the vicinity of the chest and neck while Bleacher’s body bore about thirteen stab wounds to his left side waist, chest and neck. A pair of blood stained scissors was found next to the woman’s right side neck.

News Room understands that the couple shared a common law relationship for the past fourteen years which bore four children – the eldest being 13 years old and the smallest being six years old.

Sometime during the latter part of August 2018 Alwin Bleacher wounded his eldest child and this matter is presently engaging the attention of Providence Magistrate’s court. He was on remand and was released on bail about three weeks ago.

According to reports, at about 8pm on Monday, the entire family was at home when the parents were engaged in a heated argument over the said matter.

News Room understands that the man was overheard telling his wife that she encouraged the young man to put him in jail but the woman ignored him and retired to bed.

At about 5:00am on Tuesday, the couple’s smallest son – a 6-year-old woke up and went into their bedroom when he made the gruesome discovery.

The bodies are at the Lyken Funeral Parlour awaiting a post mortem examination.
